The Locust Fork Hornets basketball team (Locust Fork, AL), was nudged 42-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL)

The Redskins now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashville for a 4A Area 11 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Oneonta will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
