Texas High School Basketball - Rockdale knocked off by Lorena

The Lorena Leopards basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Rockdale Tigers to 53 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.

The Leopards now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little River Academy for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lorena will meet a Bumblebees team coming off a 60-59 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 14-7.

The Tigers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Troy (Troy, TX). The Trojans enter the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Troy was outscored by McGregor (McGregor, TX), 44-32, in a league contest.
