Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Louis E. Dieruff can't hold off Nazareth Area

The Nazareth Area Blue Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Louis E. Dieruff Huskies to 55 in the Blue Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem Catholic for a Lehigh Valley contest on Tuesday, January 10. Nazareth Area will battle a Hawks team coming off a 51-43 league loss to Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
The Huskies (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Canaries enter the Lehigh Valley contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, William Allen was nudged by East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA), 46-38, in a non-league contest.
