The Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) basketball knocked off the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 69-51 in Friday's league test.
The Fighting Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the Jefferson test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Fluvanna County notched a victory over Goochland (Goochland, VA), 76-31, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northampton for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Louisa County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 75-51 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-3.
