The West Prairie Cyclones basketball team (Sciota, IL), was overwhelmed 63-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL)
The Bombers now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rushville-Industry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Macomb will confront a Rockets team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 0-12.
The Cyclones (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Abingdon/Avon trounced Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 34-27, in a league battle.
