Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH), 73-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers host Canton South (Canton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Principals bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Red Riders play the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Principals bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Orrville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 65-32 league win over Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH).
