The Union Parish Farmers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Mangham Dragons to 45 in the Farmers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Farmers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host General Trass for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. Union Parish will play a Panthers squad coming off a 59-58 non-league loss to Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.
Next up, the Dragons play the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Mangham will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Carroll (Monroe, LA).
