California High School Basketball - Marina fells Rancho San Juan

January 6, 2023: Salinas, CA

Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA), 60-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Marina upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Mariners host North Salinas (Salinas, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a PCAL - Cypress bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-8. North Salinas won 69-58 in their recent league bout against King City (King City, CA)

Next up, the Trailblazers clash with the Greenfield Bruins (Greenfield, CA) in a PCAL - Cypress bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Rancho San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 44-41 league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA).
