Pennsylvania High School Basketball - United crushes Marion Center

January 6, 2023: Armagh, PA 15920

United Lions (Armagh, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 65-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, United upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to play the Comets in a Heritage bout on Thursday, January 12. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Stingers play the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Marion Center will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 48-33 league loss to Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA).
