Iowa High School Basketball - Vinton-Shellsburg ripped by Marion

The Marion Wolves basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings to 45 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center Point-Urbana for a WAMAC - West contest on Tuesday, January 10. Marion will battle a Stormin' Pointers team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 8-4.
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Grinnell was routed by Norwalk (Norwalk, IA), 62-36, in a league contest.
