In Friday's non-league outing, the Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID) basketball squad beat the visiting Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), by a margin of 49-32.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, South Fremont was beaten by Ririe (Ririe, ID), 67-30, in a non-league outing.
The Diggers now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shelley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Sugar-Salem will clash with a Russets squad coming off a 68-48 non-league loss to Pocatello (Pocatello, ID). The Russets record now stands at 3-6.
