Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sturgis West Navigators (Hyannis, MA), 51-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Martha's Vineyard Regional upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Vineyarders travel to Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA) to clash with the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Dennis-Yarmouth Regional lost 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against Nantucket (Nantucket, MA)

Next up, the Navigators clash with the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams (Bourne, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Sturgis West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 57-49 league win over Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA).
