The Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) basketball knocked off the host St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH), 71-61 in Friday's league test.
The Purple Riders (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Union Local (Belmont, OH). The Jets go into the Buckeye 8 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Union Local went down by Bellaire (Bellaire, OH), 75-62, in a non-league test.
