McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI), 59-49 in a league bout.

With the win, McBain upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Ramblers host Pine River Area (Leroy, MI) to clash with the Bucks in a Highland bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bucks go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Pine River Area lost 41-39 in their recent league bout against Manton (Manton, MI)

Next up, the Bucks clash with the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a Highland bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Roscommon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 70-46 league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
