Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Blue Devils host Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to play the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Jackson-Milton lost 71-39 in their recent league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Tuesday, January 10. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
