In Friday's league outing, the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT) basketball squad felled the host Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders (Lehi, UT), by a margin of 61-50.
The Knights (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT). The Lions go into the 2A Region 18 outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Maeser Prep Academy thwarted Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT), 70-50, in a league outing.
The Marauders now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwell for a 2A Region 18 outing on Wednesday, January 11. Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams will clash with a Marshals squad coming off a 67-53 league loss to American Heritage (American Fork, UT). The Marshals record now stands at 3-8.
