North Carolina High School Basketball - Midway can't hold off Red Springs

January 6, 2023: Red Springs, NC 28377

The Red Springs Red Devils basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Midway Raiders to 51 in the Red Devils league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a 2A Conference 7 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Red Springs will battle a Dark Horses team coming off a 65-43 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 3-9.

The Raiders (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Conference 7 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, St. Pauls was nudged by Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 51-50, in a league contest.
