North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), 66-60 in a league bout.

With the win, North Hills upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Indians travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to clash with the Indians in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Moon Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 60-53 league win over South Fayette (McDonald, PA).
