The Mounds View Mustangs basketball team (Arden Hills, MN), dropped 67-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN)
The Ponies now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ridge for a AAAA Section 4 battle on Wednesday, January 11. Stillwater will battle a Raptors team coming off a 62-36 non-league win over Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Raptors record now stands at 5-4.
The Mustangs (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Roseville (Roseville, MN). The Raiders come into the AAAA Section 5 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Roseville prevailed over St. Peter (St. Peter, MN), 90-70, in a non-league battle.
