The Westview Wolverines basketball team (San Diego, CA), was nudged 57-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA)
The Sundevils now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Army-Navy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Mt. Carmel will confront a Warriors team coming off a 68-63 league loss to Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
The Wolverines (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Longhorns come into the Freelance battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Rancho Buena Vista edged Sierra (Tollhouse, CA), 64-58, in a non-league battle.
