The Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors (Atlanta, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), 56-43 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Carver (Columbus, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Carver went down by Columbus (Columbus, GA), 65-54, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Haralson County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Mt. Zion will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 52-51 league win over Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-7.
