With the win, Nonnewaug upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Chiefs host Thomaston (Thomaston, CT) to play the Bears in a Berkshire bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Thomaston won 53-42 in their recent league bout against Terryville (Terryville, CT)

Next up, the Spartans play the Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT) in a Berkshire bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Shepaug Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 63-59 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT).
