The Oakville Acorns (Oakville, WA) basketball crushed the visiting North River Mustangs (Cosmopolis, WA), 85-16 in Friday's league test.
The Acorns (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Mary M. Knight (Elma, WA). The Owls go into the 1B Coastal test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Mary M. Knight was trounced by Wishkah Valley (Aberdeen, WA), 40-38, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Taholah for a 1B Coastal test on Tuesday, January 10. North River will encounter a Chitwhins squad coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Crescent (Joyce, WA). The Chitwhins record now stands at 2-6.
