In Friday's league outing, the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics (Newfolden, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Stephen-Argyle Central Storm (Stephen, MN), by a count of 83-57.

The Nordics (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lake of the Woods (Baudette, MN). The Bears go into the A Section 8 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Lake of the Woods was crushed by Kittson Central/Lancaster (Hallock, MN), 68-37, in a league outing.

The Storm now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Ada-Borup for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13.
