Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northgate topped by Shenango

The Shenango Wildcats basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Northgate Flames to 65 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Side for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Shenango will battle a Rams team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Rams record now stands at 3-8.
The Flames (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips come into the WPIAL 2A 1 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Aliquippa prevailed over Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 69-32, in a league contest.
