Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA), 56-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Osage upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Green Devils travel to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA) to play the Broncos in a North Iowa bout on Saturday, January 7. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Vikings play the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Northwood-Kensett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA).
