The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Proviso West Panthers to 49 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Oak Park-River Forest will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 44-27 league win over Leo (Chicago, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 13-5.

Next up, the Panthers play the Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 79-73 non-league win over Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL).
