The Plainville Cardinals basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Oakley Plainsmen to 35 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hill City for a Mid-Continent contest on Tuesday, January 10. Plainville will battle a Ringnecks team coming off a 60-41 non-league win over Trego (WaKeeney, KS). The Ringnecks record now stands at 4-1.
The Plainsmen (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Norton (Norton, KS). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Norton ran past Stockton (Stockton, KS), 57-6, in a non-league contest.
