In Friday's league outing, the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a count of 55-52.
The Rams (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Titans go into the Three Rivers - West outing with a 11-7 record.
The Chargers now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Brimfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Orion will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 46-21 league win over Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-10.
