Sedan Devils (Sedan, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sedan upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Devils travel to Flinthills (Rosalia, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Flinthills lost 75-40 in their recent non-league bout against Classical (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the South Haven Cardinals (South Haven, KS) in a South Central Border bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Oxford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 49-38 non-league loss to Dexter (Dexter, KS).
