The Phoenix Country Day Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Red Rock Scorpions to 36 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phoenix Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Scorpions (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons come into the 2A Metro contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Veritas Prep triumphed over North Pointe Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 84-24, in a non-league contest.
