The South Pike Eagles basketball team (Magnolia, MS), was nudged 45-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS)
The Rangers now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Pike for a 4A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Raymond will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 81-51 league loss to McComb (McComb, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-14.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wingfield (Jackson, MS). The Falcons come into the 4A Region 6 battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Wingfield was nudged by Lanier (Jackson, MS), 74-36, in a league battle.
