With the victory, Sandhills/Thedford upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE) to play the Coyotes in a D2 District 8 challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Anselmo-Merna lost 64-41 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE)

Next up, the Sailors play the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Sutherland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 67-30 non-league loss to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE).
