The Scranton Knights basketball team (Scranton, PA), was nudged 61-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA)
The Cougars now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Valley View will confront a Comets team coming off a 62-52 non-league loss to Berks Catholic (Reading, PA). The Comets record now stands at 9-1.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders come into the Lackawanna 1 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, West Scranton edged Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA), 59-20, in a league battle.
