Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southeastern Panthers (Chillicothe, OH), 66-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Zane Trace upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Miami Trace won 46-30 in their recent league bout against McClain (Greenfield, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 53-31 non-league loss to Northwest (McDermott, OH).
