The Troup County Tigers basketball team (LaGrange, GA), was nudged 63-57 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA)
The Panthers now possess a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Saturday, January 7. Starr's Mill will confront a Lions team coming off a 69-64 non-league win over Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Lions record now stands at 6-5.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, North Clayton was nudged by Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 57-41, in a league battle.
