Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA), 63-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Cosumnes Oaks won 24-22 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 25-3 record after their 69-40 non-league win over Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA).
