With the victory, Gadsden City upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 6A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Fort Payne lost 50-32 in their recent non-league bout against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL)

Next up, the Aggies play the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) in a 7A Area 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Albertville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 55-40 league win over Grissom (Huntsville, AL).
