Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons (Foxburg, PA), 38-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Cranberry Area upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Berries travel to North Clarion (Tionesta, PA) to play the Wolves in a Keystone Shortway - North bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-0. North Clarion won 55-24 in their recent league bout against Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Allegheny-Clarion Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 77-16 non-league win over East Forest (Marienville, PA).
