Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX), 89-6 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglass upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Indians host Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 22 bout on Monday, January 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Mt. Enterprise lost 52-46 in their recent league bout against Overton (Overton, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 13. Alto will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
