Florida High School Basketball - Anclote tops Nature Coast Tech

Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 53-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anclote upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL) to play the Spongers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Spongers come into the bout with a record of 1-9. Tarpon Springs lost 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against Seminole (Seminole, FL)

Next up, the Sharks play the Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) in a 4A District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Nature Coast Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 56-20 league win over Central (Brooksville, FL).
