San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ), 29-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Luis upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Sidewinders travel to San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-3. San Pasqual Valley won 58-32 in their recent non-league bout against Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ)

Next up, the Rams play the North Pointe Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Antelope will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 44-21 non-league loss to Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
