The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons to 28 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, January 10. Dike-New Hartford will battle a Warriors team coming off a 47-37 league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.

The Falcons (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Van Meter was routed by Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
