The Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), 69-50 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers go into the A D1 Region 7 test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Darlington notched a victory over Dade County (Trenton, GA), 42-31, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Dade County for a A D1 Region 7 outing on Saturday, January 7. Armuchee will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 42-31 league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-10.
