North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins nudges Northeast Guilford

January 6, 2023: McLeansville, NC 27301

In Friday's league outing, the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad nipped the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), by a margin of 32-27.

The Camels (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Bison go into the 3A Conference 46 outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, High Point Central was tipped by Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 54-12, in a league outing.

The Rams now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rockingham County for a 3A Conference 46 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Northeast Guilford will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 59-57 non-league win over Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 12-2.
