With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA) to play the Royal Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Stewart County lost 61-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL) in a 7A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 51-29 league loss to Opelika (Opelika, AL).
