North Carolina High School Basketball - Palisades nips Berry

January 6, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28208

Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Palisades upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to Harding University (Charlotte, NC) to play the Rams in a 4A Conference 49 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Harding University lost 60-20 in their recent league bout against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Cardinal play the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Berry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 68-25 league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
