With the victory, Birdville improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Colleyville Heritage won 49-39 in their recent league challenge against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)

Next up, the Royals play the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Richland will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 41-21 league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX).
