The Greyhounds now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millsap for a 3A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Peaster will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-32 league win over Early (Early, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
The Eagles (21-5) will now prepare for their battle against Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Mavericks come into the 3A Region I District 8 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Eastland was toppled by Comanche (Comanche, TX), 69-48, in a league battle.
