The Millington Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Bullock Creek Lancers to 32 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ithaca for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Millington will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 56-13 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-1.
The Lancers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Shepherd ran past Beaverton (Beaverton, MI), 47-46, in a league contest.
